GSA Leadership
GSA is governed by its Board of Directors, which sets the organization's general direction,
decides matters of overall policy and reviews GSA activities. The Board of Directors is committed
to the goals and principles of GSA and contributes to the well being of the organization.
The Asia-Pacific Leadership Council is comprised of executives from leading fabless companies
throughout the Asia-Pacific region that will serve as advisors to the GSA Board of Directors
on global and regional issues.
The EMEA Leadership Council is comprised of chief executive officers from leading semiconductor
companies throughout Europe that serve as advisors to the GSA Board of Directors on global and regional
issues. The Council will further define GSA's European strategy, identifying what support EMEA companies
need, additional tools and resources, as well as activities in the region.
GSA established the VC Advisory Council to bring together industry expertise from the VC community
in an advisory capacity to help educate and provide data on unique attributes in funding successful
start-up companies. The goal of the VC Advisory Council is to support GSA's goal to encourage and
support entrepreneurship. The Council supports GSA to identify trends for investing, forecasting for
investments, best practices, executive searches and to share information among VC firms committed
to semiconductor companies and GSA. Advisory Council representatives may also author articles,
participate on panels, host events and provide ideas for GSA programs.
The CEO Council is comprised of the industry’s leading semiconductor CEOs to address
current topical issues and supports GSA’s focus on accelerating the growth and increasing
the return on invested capital of the global semiconductor industry. This group of decision makers
has an impact on the direction of the industry and utilizes their economic power as a group.
The Emerging Company CEO Council is comprised of leading CEOs from emerging companies to advise
GSA’s board of directors on emerging company needs and supports GSA’s focus on
entrepreneurship.
