2010 GSA Awards Dinner Celebration December 9, 2010

Start-Up to Watch Award Submission Form

About the Award

The GSA Start-Up to Watch Awards Committee, which is comprised of members of GSA's Emerging Company CEO Council (ECCEO) and select serial entrepreneurs in the industry, semiconductor venture capitalists and other start-up experts selects the winner of the Start-Up To Watch award by identifying the semiconductor company that demonstrates the potential to positively change its market or the semiconductor industry in general through innovation and new applications for semiconductor technology.

With more than 1,000 fabless and IDM start-up companies worldwide, the GSA Start-Up to Watch Awards Committee has been tasked with evaluating each application submitted to determine the finalists. If your company is selected as a nominee, your CEO must make a presentation about your company at the GSA ECCEO Council meeting to be held on September 29, 2010 in San Jose, California. Presentations can be made in-person or via WebEx between 9:00am and 12:00pm Pacific Time.

Guidelines

  • Company must be a semiconductor company (fabless or IDM) *
  • Company must have introduced its first product within the last 3.5 years (between January 1, 2007 and June 30, 2010)
  • Company must have demonstrated initial market success by achieving a minimum of $5 million of cumulative product revenue (i.e., cumulative product revenue since market introduction)

*To qualify for a GSA award, a semiconductor company must design, manufacture (internally or externally) and sell hardware devices implemented on silicon to an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) or original design manufacturer (ODM).

If your company does not meet these guidelines, you should instead apply for the Most Respected Private Semiconductor Company Award.
