The Supply-Chain Performance
Subcommittee’s mission
is to open up the lines of
communication between the
fabless/fab-lite community and key
suppliers, specifically foundry
and back-end partners, on
topics of mutual interest
and benefit. The Subcommittee’s
objectives include overseeing
and defining the Wafer Fabrication
& Back-End Pricing
Survey and validating the
data and its analysis.
GSA Wafer Fabrication & Back-End Pricing Survey and Report – The Subcommittee is working to further improve and revise the current Survey and Report. Modifications are made to the Survey and Report each quarter.
GSA
Wafer Fabrication & Back-End
Pricing Survey - A quarterly
survey that asks fabless companies
and integrated device manufacturers
(IDMs) how much they are paying
for outsourced wafers and
back-end services. The Survey
results not only provide quantitative
data of business trends, but
also define key trends in
technologies and markets.
Fabless companies, IDMs and
suppliers derive benefits
from the Survey data in preparing
themselves for future business.
Wafer
Fabrication Pricing Report
- Includes a written analysis
of the Survey results and
interactive online results
showing rolling average wafer
prices and average mask set
prices for four consecutive
quarters.
Back-End Pricing Report
- Includes a written analysis
of the Survey results and
interactive online results
showing rolling average assembly, test and wafer bump prices for four consecutive
quarters.
The Subcommittee discussed the Q3 2007 Wafer Fabrication & Back-End Pricing Survey results to determine outliers/questionable data. |
