Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA) Events

Twinkling of Semiconductor Industry in the Gloomy Economy   Saturday, April 11th, 2009

CASPA and GSA have jointly organized a symposium focused on the future of the semiconductor industry. We encourage all semiconductor professionals to join us for an afternoon recess and to examine, in retrospect, the semiconductor history from both the market and technology perspectives. We will also explore the various opportunities available to the semiconductor community and how the existing economic climate will affect the outlook going forward.

Our history has proven that even in the most troubled economic times, semiconductor companies have adapted and successfully turned the tide in their favor. Preparation has been the consistent theme in each of these success stories during a down turned economy. We must now adapt our way of thinking to successfully face the existing challenges of today's market. Leading us into these discussions are industry experts, executives, and venture capitalist, specializing in semiconductor markets and technology. They will share their views and experiences to help us understand how we can adjust to the changing environment.

Together we shall find the twinkling of the semiconductor industry in the future!
