MOS-AK/GSA Workshop with Special Guest Laurence W. Nagel   September 18, 2009
MOS-AK | GSA

As part of the European Solid-State Device Research Conference (ESSDERC) and the European Solid-State Circuits Conference (ESSCIRC), a MOS-AK/GSA Workshop will be organized for the first time in Athens, Greece to classify the most important directions for the future development of compact models and to clearly identify areas that need further research. The workshop will cover all important aspects of compact model development, implementation, deployment and standardization within the theme: frontiers of compact modeling for nanometer-scale CMOS/SOI circuit simulation. Greece has a large community of academic researchers and industrial practitioners who are eager to interact with the compact modeling and EDA community, which creates a unique hi-tech environment to discuss the frontiers of compact/SPICE modeling and its standardization.

MOS-AK/GSA workshops are organized to:

  • Strengthen a network and discussion forum among experts in the compact modeling field.
  • Enhance a open platform for information exchange related to compact/SPICE modeling.
  • Obtain feedback from technology developers, circuit designers and CAD tool vendors.
