GSA holds global events throughout the world, encompassing the entire semiconductor supply chain. We offer global and regional events such as luncheons, International Collaboration Series, trade shows, conferences, expositions, and our annual Awards Dinner Celebration.
GSA conducts events in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and North America. A few of our global events are listed below.
- Silicon Series Luncheon: New Markets, New Economics - will be held on February 10, 2010 in Santa Clara, CA. This luncheon is the first of a series of four luncheons hosted by GSA in 2010. This event will focus on the outlook for emerging markets throughout the semiconductor industry. GSA will invite analysts from several leading market intelligence firms to share their perspectives and insights regarding CAGRs, TAM and revenue projections for these markets. The open panel discussion will address how the industry is taking advantage of these various markets and making them mainstream industry segments.
- Memory Conference -
will be held on March 16, 2010 in Taipei, Taiwan. This conference is co-organized by Chinese Institute of Electrical Engineering (CIEE) and it is the first ever industry event dedicated to all memory companies, system houses, and semiconductor companies. The main theme is “Bridging Memory and Logic ICs for a Better System Performance”.
- ITAC & GSA Conference -
will be held on April 20-21, 2010 in Burlington, Ontario, Canada. The conference is co-organized by ITAC and GSA. Technology continues to evolve and to present new and exciting opportunities for innovative products and new cost paradigms. Organic semiconductors offer the promise of “printed electronics”, the 21st Century version of the old printed circuits and they can be flexible too, to offer ground-breaking form factors and reconfigurable user profiles. So how should you position your company to thrive and prosper in “The New Normal”?
- GSA & IET International Semiconductor Forum - will take place on May 18-19, 2010 in London, UK.
In its 8th year, the Forum brings together executive management focused on European trends in semiconductor development and markets. This year's program focuses on leveraging and maximizing European expertise in analog/mixed-signal, wireless/portability, low-power applications and quality/reliability to access the emerging markets for silicon growth in areas that include automotive,, home networking, smart meters/smart cards, smart grids and cloud computing to name a few.
- Emerging Opportunities Expo & Conference - This North America event brings together suppliers
and semiconductor professionals in an effort to advance
and cultivate global business partnerships. The event holds an exposition and conference on the latest subject matter for the semiconductor supply chain.
- Awards Dinner
Celebration - The GSA Awards Dinner Celebration in December
is the premier awards ceremony in the semiconductor
industry. During the event, semiconductor companies that
have shown exemplary success, vision, strategy and future
promise are recognized. It is an honor to be selected as
a nominee and even more prestigious to win a GSA Award.
This event is hosted in Santa Clara, CA.
- Industry
Alliance Events - GSA welcomes the opportunity to
work with different organizations and our member companies
through alliances. GSA has established an Alliance committee
to determine alliance activities. GSA enters into alliances
with the goal of providing GSA members with educational
and informative opportunities that extend beyond those activities
directly hosted by GSA.
- Fabless IC Implementation Seminars - March 16 and 22, 2010 - The available infrastructure to start a fabless IC company today makes it relatively easy to launch, but looming obstacles and market challenges can hinder start-ups from succeeding. Dr. Rakesh Kumar, president of TCX and author of Fabless Semiconductor Implementation, is offering companies a valuable IC implementation seminar that will offer suggestions for participating in a successful endeavor, including technical, marketing and business considerations, such as technology selection, product specification, product positioning, cost optimization, and understanding the customer value chain.
- Industry Events - GSA participates in various events hosted by industry leaders throughout the year by speaking and exhibiting. Photos and presentations are available for each event.
