The following reports previously have been published by GSA:
Fabless Fundings was a quarterly report focused on
fabless funding investments. The report was based on secondary
research collected by GSA and included an overview of the
fabless funding deals and IPOs. The fundings were listed
as they occurred by month.
Each quarter, GSA collected and published financial
information on public fabless companies for the Global Fabless
Financial Report. The quarterly Global Fabless Financials
Report was a comprehensive financial report covering all
public fabless companies worldwide. This report included
the following on more than 130 companies: a comprehensive
analysis on the previous quarter's earnings for each company;
an interactive spreadsheet to sort by categories of interest
such as: stock exchanges, quarterly revenue, prior revenue,
quarterly net income, yearly revenue, revenue growth, revenue
estimate, profit margins, market cap, sales-to-employee
ratio, R&D-to-sales, plus much more!
- This publication was designed to highlight, at a
glance, the importance of the fabless business model and
its ongoing symbiotic relationship between fabless semiconductor
companies and their business partners. The quarterly compilation
of timely information and statistics focused on the movers,
shakers and news makers within the fabless segment.
This biannual publication analyzed semiconductor activity
worldwide as well as industry-associated supply chain partners
through a compilation of articles. Industry and financial
analysts - semiconductor experts located in specific regions
of the globe - contributed insightful articles along with
industry facts provided by GSA.

This extensive report is compiled from the responses of fabless semiconductor companies highlighting the MIS systems used. GSA has collected information such as respondent company revenue and headcount to provide a frame of reference for company size. It is our hope that these improvements will streamline the data collection process as well as enhance accessibility of the results, resulting in higher value for GSA members.
This study was commissioned by GSA and conducted by Lions Peak LLC and Santa Clara University’s Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. This study conducted research into the dynamics of the electronics industry supply chain.
