In 2007, Qin-Sheng Wang was named deputy director of China Semiconductor Industry Association (CSIA), director of IC Design Branch of CSIA. Formerly Wang was CEO of China IC Design Center(CIDC), and Board of Directors Chairperson of Huada Electronic Design Co., Ltd. (HED).
With a background in computer sciences, engineering, and research fellowship, she is qualified for the special allowance grant from the government. Wang had engaged in the research and development of state projects of computer network and satellite control system and has received an award three times issued by the ministry department.
Wang entered into microelectronics field in 1990. She is a pioneer of IC business in China. She was the China representative and executive director of the International Federation of Information Processing (IFIP); executive director of Chinese Institute of Electronics; director of China Information Industry Association Safe Branch; and director of the Smart-Card Special Committee.
