

Automotive Interest Group Workshop in Association with APEF

Automotive Working Group:
GSA Automotive Interest Group was established to provide a platform for the entire automotive ecosystem, bridging the different players around the automotive market by providing an opportunity for members to be part of exclusive workshops facilitated by McKinsey and conducted around topical issues and challenges, and by offering a repository of data and analysis on recent developments and trends in the automotive electronics/electric market.
Past Participants:
The Interest Group involves the semiconductor ecosystem companies in addition to automotive OEMs, tier 1 suppliers and software companies. The Interest Group has hosted a series of workshops with McKinsey in Asia, Europe, and North America. Companies involved so far in these workshops include AImotive, ARM, Audi, Bosch, Cadence, Continental, Ford Motor Company, Imagination, Imec, Infineon, Intel Automated Driving Group, Kalray, Kendrion, Luxoft, McKinsey, Mellanox, MERI, NXP, Renesas, Secure-IC, Senseg, Strategy Analytics, sureCore, Synopsys, TSMC and Visteon.
Workshop Agenda:
- Summarize the results of the joint McKinsey-GSA study on Automotive Software and Electronics 2023, mapping the sector’s future landscape.
- Kick-off new project on Automotive Cybersecurity that will develop over the next few months in a series of 1-1 interviews, workshops and internal research.
