We would like to give a big welcome to our newest member, Lalitha Suryanarayana as she joins the Global Semiconductor Alliance Women’s Leadership Council. She is the Vice President, Strategy, Mergers & Acquisitions at Infineon Technologies, a leading provider of semiconductor solutions for automotive, power and the Internet of Things. In this role, she works on corporate projects, and partners with Infineon divisions to drive strategic programs in the areas of wireless connectivity, software, data services and ecosystem for the IoT.

Lalitha’s 25+ year career spans a diverse set of leadership roles in the semiconductor and telecom industries. Previously, as Senior Director at Qualcomm Technologies, she ran product management, partner business development and operations functions for various product lines, focusing on profitability and growth. Prior to that, as Corporate Strategy Director at AT&T, she led new technology and strategy development initiatives that significantly expanded the company’s footprint and scale across mobile, wireless and broadband.
Ms. Suryanarayana has 48 issued patents and multiple publications including a technical book to her credit. During her tenure as an engineer in R&D, she was recognized for her pioneering contributions to the industry standardization of mobile and device-independent web technologies. Lalitha holds an M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from NYU Polytechnic, New York, and an M.B.A. degree from the University of Texas, Austin.
