Each award is decided by member vote or committee — venture capitalists, serial entrepreneurs, GSA leadership councils, and independent analysts — using transparent criteria. Some are nominated; others are derived from public financials. All are voted by you.
Recognizing individuals — such as its namesake — for their exceptional contributions to drive the development, innovation, growth, and long-term opportunity of the semiconductor industry. Awarded by special selection of GSA leadership.
The Women of Influence Award recognizes and profiles the next generation of women leaders in the semiconductor industry. Companies are encouraged to identify women with a technical background and education within their organization who they believe will be a key corporate executive over the next three years. Nominations are reviewed by an all-female executive committee.
GSA's Private Awards Committee — venture capitalists and select serial entrepreneurs — identifies up to two semiconductor companies demonstrating the potential to positively change their market through innovative technology or a new application for semiconductor technology. Eligibility: privately held, less than $20M cumulative product revenue.
For the private company garnering the most respect from the industry in terms of products, vision, and future opportunity. GSA's Private Awards Committee reviews and analyzes performance, then provides a shortlist for GSA membership to vote on. Eligibility: privately held, at least $20M cumulative product revenue.
For the public company most respected by the industry. Determined by GSA from publicly traded Fabless and IDM semiconductor companies meeting revenue, stock price, and market cap criteria over two consecutive 12-month periods. GSA members cast a single vote per revenue tier.
Same evaluation framework as the greater-than-$5B tier, applied to public Fabless and IDM companies with annual revenue between $1 billion and $5 billion across two consecutive 12-month measurement periods.
Applied to public Fabless and IDM companies with annual revenue between $500 million and $1 billion. Same evaluation framework: financial qualification, member vote.
For public Fabless and IDM companies with annual revenue between $100 million and $500 million. Closing out the four revenue-tier slate.
A broad evaluation of financial health and performance. Growth rates, margins, cash flow, profitability ratios, efficiency ratios, and return on capital are analyzed alongside year-over-year improvement. Companies are ranked across every metric and compared to their peer universe.
The same broad financial health evaluation framework, applied to public semiconductor companies with annual revenue up to $1 billion.
Nominees selected by Managing Director Blayne Curtis of Jefferies, LLC. Analysts base their decision on historical and projected data — stock price, earnings per share, revenue forecasts, and product performance — applied to qualifying public Fabless and IDM companies.
Recognizes a semiconductor company headquartered in the Asia-Pacific region that demonstrates the most strength when measuring products, vision, leadership, and success in the marketplace. Nominees and winners are determined by GSA's APAC Leadership Council.
Recognizes a semiconductor company headquartered in the EMEA region that demonstrates the most strength when measuring products, vision, leadership, and success in the marketplace. Nominees and winners are determined by GSA's EMEA Leadership Council.
