Last month GSA returned to London after a decade hiatus to host the GSA International Semiconductor Conference in partnership with the UK’s Government, Department for Science, Innovation and Technology.

With over 300 attendees, 40 esteemed speakers and two days of impactful dialogue, this unique event explored the impact of semiconductor innovation in anticipation to a NetZero economy. An outstanding lineup of senior business leaders, investors and public policy officials from around the world gathered to discuss the latest semiconductor industry trends and the surrounding global economic and geopolitical situation.

A board range of topics were covered from:

  • Semiconductor innovations targeting NetZero: decarbonization and energy efficiency, particularly for Electric Vehicles, AI, Hyperscalers.
  • Different governments approaches aiming to de-risk supply chains, increase long-term resiliency, and stimulate industry growth.
  • Capital funding for start-ups and scale-ups in areas such as: AI, compound materials, photonics, quantum, thin film design and manufacturing.
  • Ensuring that women become a more integral part of the semiconductor industry leadership, as well as talent development.
