To celebrate the International Women’s Day on March 8 this year, Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA), the voice of the global semiconductor industry, hosts Women’s Leadership Initiative Asia-Pacific Executive Conference at 9-11 AM, on March 2nd, 2022. With the theme of “The Semiconductor Power to Change the World,” the online conference commences with welcome remarks by Ms. Jodi Shelton, co-Founder and CEO of GSA, and Dr. Nicky Lu, Chair of GSA AP Leadership Council and Chairman, CEO & co-Founder of Etron Technology, Inc.

“GSA focuses on people who make up of the semiconductor industry. We want to broaden our view focusing on diversity, equity and inclusion. Our industry will grow even stronger by encouraging women and under-represented people to join us,” said Jodi Shelton.

“This year GSA WLI APAC Executive Conference entitled <The Semiconductor Power to Change the World> is very timely reflecting what the worldwide economy and the technical societies need to discuss about,” said Dr. Nicky Lu.

The GSA has established its Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI) to significantly increase the number of women in leadership roles in the semiconductor industry, the capital dedicated to women-led start-ups and the number of STEM-focused female candidates joining the semiconductor ecosystem.

Bringing together industry leaders, entrepreneurs and engineering professionals, GSA’s WLI APAC Executive Conference in 2022 will explore the STEM leadership as main power of industry transformation and technology evolution, as well as demonstrate the changing force to create a more diversified workplace (#BreakTheBias) and more sustainable environment for a better tomorrow.
